Mazen Mokhtar has forged an impactful career over nearly three decades, currently leading as the CEO of Baitulmaal, a renowned international humanitarian organization, after his role as Executive Director of the Muslim American Society (MAS), where he focused on nurturing American Muslim youth and community initiatives.

His leadership style, characterized by strategic innovation and adaptability, has driven growth and efficiency across the organizations he has guided. Mazen’s effective communication, supported by his English, Arabic, and French proficiency, is critical in managing diverse teams and engaging with various stakeholders.

At Baitulmaal in Irving, Texas, Mazen has been pivotal in defining the organization’s strategic objectives and managing humanitarian efforts in over 23 countries and the United States. His responsibilities include financial oversight and building strategic alliances, notably his contribution to establishing the American Humanitarian Forum in 2019.

From 2013 to 2018, Mazen Moein Mokhtar managed an expansive network of chapters at MAS and spearheaded programs that enhanced community service and educational outreach. His efforts in the "Winning the Peace" program at West Point also highlight his commitment to improving cultural and religious sensitivity.

As a frequent lecturer, Mazen shares his insights on youth, Islamic, and interfaith issues at prestigious universities, including Princeton and NYU. This showcases his depth of knowledge and dedication to fostering understanding.

Before his significant contributions to the nonprofit sector, Mazen had a robust career in IT. He founded MindCraft, a consulting firm that provided services to diverse clients, from startups to Fortune 500 companies. He holds a B.Sc. in Computer Science and Engineering from Johns Hopkins University and has authored scholarly work, including an innovative approach to solving the Traveling Salesman Problem.

Mazen Mokhtar lives with his family in Irving, Texas, and remains committed to community and philanthropic endeavors, a testament to the values he embraced growing up in Alexandria, Egypt.
